Terms and Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which you can purchase and redeem tickets for your visit to Cremona. Once your tickets have been purchased, the booking is non-changeable and non-refundable. By purchasing tickets for Cremona, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and to the use of the information you provide to us.

All persons wishing to purchase tickets to visit Cremona or attend a paid event at Cremona do so subject to the following terms and conditions:

• All prices are quoted in Euro. Whilst Cremona Heritage Ltd reserves the right to increase or decrease our prices at any time, once your booking is confirmed, the price of your booking as stated in the confirmation email will not be increased.
• Once purchased, your ticket must be redeemed within 6 calendar months.
• * Please note that the house and gardens at Cremona may be closed on occasion due to adverse weather conditions. Please check our website for updates.
• No dogs are permitted at Cremona with the exception of registered guide dogs/assistance dogs.
• It is the sole responsibility of the bearer of a ticket to check opening and closing times of the house and gardens.
• The minimum age for visitors to attend Cremona is 12 years, save where advance permission has been granted in writing and said children must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 years+ at all times.
• Cremona Heritage reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry on to or remove from its premises or the vicinity, any person who:-
  – in its opinion, is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors.
  – has behaved in a manner or is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors.
  – has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.
  – is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
• Save as otherwise permitted by Cremona Heritage Ltd, its servants or agents, all persons entering must pay for admission. Tickets must be retained at all times and submitted for inspection if required. Any person attempting to gain admission without a valid ticket may be removed from the premises.
• In accordance with Irish Law, smoking is strictly prohibited within all areas, save in the gardens, where use of clay pipes and pipe tobacco for sale in the souvenir shop, is permitted on a novelty basis.
• Any behaviour likely to cause annoyance to other visitors or confusion of any kind is not permitted. Visitors are expected to respect and conform to local laws and customs. If, in the opinion of Cremona Heritage Ltd, a visitor is behaving in such a way as to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others or damage to property, he/she may be removed without refund. In addition, he/she must meet any expenses incurred as a result of such behaviour.
• Cremona Heritage Ltd will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all of its exhibits/ displays are open during normal opening hours. However, Cremona Heritage Ltd reserves the right, in its absolute discretion and with or without prior notice, to close any part of it. In the event of such closure, Cremona Heritage Ltd will refund any visitor the cost of his or her prepaid ticket. Otherwise Cremona Heritage Ltd shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses.
• Other than liability for death or personal injury resulting from Cremona Heritage Ltd negligence, Cremona Heritage Ltd, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising.
• Only food and beverages purchased from Cremona Heritage may be consumed at Cremona.
• Tours are self-guided unless advertised as otherwise.  Group tours may be booked by contacting [email protected]
• If for some reason you are not happy with any aspect of your Booking with us, we ask that you email us at [email protected]
• Admission charges are stated in the body of the website and otherwise displayed at the main entrance to the gardens.
• Cycling is not permitted in the gardens or pathways. Cyclists must dismount upon entry to the grounds.

Opening Hours:

10 am to 9 pm Tues to Sunday from 1st May until Oct 30. Closed Mondays, save when the Monday falls on a Bank Holiday.  10 am to 5 pm 1st November to 30 April* Last entry is one hour before closing.
*Winter opening hours can be  extended for afternoon and evening events at Cremona by arrangement. Check our events calendar for details.
Cremona will be open on Bank Holidays throughout the year.

• Cars remaining in the car park after 1800 hrs will be subject to a call out fee for after-hours access.

Hazard Warning

There is a small feature lake in the gardens with a minimum depth of two feet with access to the water’s edge. There is uneven terrain on the paths and some low level overhanging tree branches as a consequence of untrained natural growth

Friend of Cremona Friendship Card

Please read through our terms carefully before becoming a Friend.
FRIENDSHIP CARDS: VERY IMPORTANT, Terms & Conditions.

To become a Friend, you must be photographed for identification and your image attached to your Friendship Card. Please be aware you will be asked for proof of ID when visiting the Gardens and may be asked for your card when in the house. You must bring your Friendship Card with you when you visit. Without your card, you must pay the standard entry fee to visit the House and Gardens.

Your Friendship Card validates admission during days when we are open from the day of purchase. You will receive a ‘Soon To Expire’ email from us, so you may renew your membership on time.

We have two Friendship options: Friend and International Friend

A Friend card costs €100 and allows you to invite one guest per visit. Please note, a guest can be anyone over the age of 12 years.
An International Friend card is a complimentary card available to non-residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Proof of address is required for both cards.

Cards are non-transferable and cardholders must be present to accompany guests visiting Cremona.

Loss of card: a charge of €10 is applicable for the issue of replacement cards within 12 months of purchase – or if you wish to have the details on the card changed from what was originally on your application form. So please take extra care of your card.
Special events taking place throughout the year may require closing access to some or all of the Gardens and/or the House. Please check our website for the latest information.

Special events at Cremona may carry their own admission charge. Where possible, Friends are eligible for a 10% discount. The management reserve the right to refuse entry.

Please do not pick flowers, shrubs or take cuttings.
Please observe the notices within our Gardens and in the house.
Picnics are only allowed in designated areas and only with food and beverages supplied by Cremona.

Payment

• Seller accept payments via PayPal.

Shipping

• Cost does not include any custom charges incurred.
• All deliveries are made via An Post services from Ireland

Returns

• Seller offers a 21 day returns policy.
• Simply return the item, with your receipt and Seller will process your refund subject to the following:-.
• Items must be returned to Cremona within 21 days of purchase.
• Items must be in original unused condition with, in the case of shirts, the information tag attached to it
• Please state clearly the reason for return.
• The customer should provide a tracking number and the return is the responsibility of the customer until it reaches the address for returns stated below.
• The cost of returning an item remains with the customer.
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
• Refunds will issue within 21 days of receiving the return.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods or your right to cancel orders before shipping under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

Shop Policy

• Seller reserves the right to alter or amend product details if any inaccuracies or errors occur in the online product information, including price, product detail etc. This includes the right to cancel and refund any order made for same product. This will not affect your statutory rights
• Out of stock; Occasionally items purchased online may be unavailable. If this is the case Seller will contact you to advise of the expected availability date of the item.
• The shade of a shirt colour may differ from the shade shown on screens
• The shirt sizes are generous, please note shirt size measurements before ordering online.
• All prices include Irish Value Added Tax at the rate applicable at the time of purchase and a separate sales or VAT invoice is not available.
• Insurance cover for items is not included in the postage and responsibility cannot be accepted by Seller for goods delivered opened or damaged.
• An item posted is deemed delivered once purchaser receives a postage tracking number.
• For bulk orders, typically more than 10 items, Seller will advise shipping costs via email in advance.
• Courier delivery, via Fedex is available for bulk orders when Seller will apply Fedex parcel rates per kg payable at the time of placing the order
